APC Valuation Training Modules

Three APC Valuation Training Modules in St Helens, Merseyside:

Module 1 - Mandatory requirements and guidance for valuations - 4th February 2020

Module 2 - Conventional valuation methods and their application - 5th February 2020

Module 3 - Conventional and contemporary investment valuation techniques - 6th February 2020

  • 10.00 am until 5.00 pm each day (registration from 09.30). Attend one, two or three days.
  • Each module is limited to 24 places to ensure that individual training needs can be addressed.
  • Fee for each module is £125.00 plus VAT @ 20% (£25.00) inclusive of supporting notes, lunch and refreshments (see “Terms and Conditions”)
  • Attend all three modules for £325.00 plus VAT @ 20% (£65.00)
  • Each module provides 6 hours of CPD.
  • Post module study to reinforce knowledge and understanding provides additional CPD hours.

Aims and Outcomes

  • These three APC Valuation Training Modules aim to provide APC Candidates with the knowledge and understanding necessary to achieve Level 1 of the APC Valuation Competency which states that the candidate must:
    Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the purposes for which valuations are undertaken; the relevant valuation methods and techniques; the appropriate standards and guidance; and any relevant statutory or mandatory requirements for valuation work
  • These modules will also make a significant contribution towards the achievement of Levels 2 and 3.
  • The knowledge element will be provided by lectures with detailed supporting notes. Understanding will be achieved through problem-based learning group sessions and open forum discussion using typical APC Final Assessment questions.

John Faulkner FRICS is a former valuation lecturer, a former consultant in private practice, a regular contributor at CPD events and a training consultant to RICS. Please contact John for further details if required.

  1. By completing the application form, you are entering into a binding contract to pay for the training modules, subject to the cancellation conditions in (2), (3), (4) and (5) below.
  2. If the invoice has not been paid and a cancellation is made within 14 days of the date the first module is presented or, attendance is not made, you will be liable for full payment.
  3. If the invoice has not been paid and a cancellation is received at least 14 days before the date the first module is presented an administration charge of £30.00 plus VAT will be made.
  4. A refund will only be made if a cancellation is received at least 14 days before the date the first module is presented, and this will be subject to an administration charge of £30.00 plus VAT.
  5. JFPC Valuation School reserve the right to cancel the presentation of this module and in this case a full refund will be made.
  6. These training modules do not represent any official view of the RICS and cannot offer any guarantee that their completion will result in success at APC final assessment.
  7. Booking confirmation, VAT receipt and directions to venue will be sent at least 48 hours before the date the module is presented.
